Difference between standard medium and short head cone crushers

Although the standard cone crusher, medium cone crusher and short head cone crusher are three different cone crushers, they are essentially one of the traditional spring cone crushers.

The difference between the three is that the parallel belt with short head is longer, the medium type is the second, and the standard type is the shortest. What's the difference between them?

1. The shape of crushing chamber is different

The parallel belt of the short head cone crusher is longer, the medium-sized one is the second, and the standard type is the shortest.

2. The particle size of crushed products is different

The short head cone crusher with long parallel belt can crush fine materials. Generally, this type of cone crusher is used after intermediate crushing; while the standard cone crusher has coarse particle size and high output, and the broken materials can be used as intermediate crushing.

3. The width of discharge port is different

Compared with the medium-sized and short head cone crusher, the discharge port width of standard cone crusher is wider, so the processing capacity of standard cone crusher is larger in unit time processing capacity.

The parallel zone of the short head type is longer, and the feed and discharge outlets are small, so the fine product size can be obtained. Generally, the short head with long parallel band is put after the middle crushing as fine crushing.

And the standard type due to the short parallel zone, so the crushing product is coarse, high yield, generally placed after the coarse crushing, that is, after the jaw crusher or the rotary crusher as the intermediate crushing.

In a word, the feeding ports of the standard, medium and short head type gradually decrease, while the crushing chamber and parallel zone grow.
